In compliance with the GDPR, in its capacity as "Data Controller" Gimborn Italia srl (as identified at the end of this privacy policy) provides the following information on the use of any personal data provided by users viewing and/or interacting with the website. Therefore, this online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline.

What data do we process and why?

1. The personal data and email address submitted in order to subscribe to the newsletter are processed only for the purpose of sending said newsletter. The newsletter sent will concern the type of animal you have chosen. These data may be processed not only by us but also by third-party companies specialising in commercial, marketing, IT and legal information management. All these external parties act as duly appointed external data processors. The processing of your personal data is legitimate within the meaning of Article 6, paragraph 1, letter B of Regulation EU 2016/679 on Data Protection. If you do not authorise this type of processing, there will be no negative impacts whatsoever on other existing or requested relationships. In order to submit the form, you must tick the box acknowledging that you have read the privacy policy.
2. If you have chosen to apply as our Ambassador, your personal, contact and social profile data will be processed for the purpose of evaluating your application and thus to establish a subsequent commercial and promotional relationship typical of the Ambassador role. These data may be processed not only by us but also by third-party companies specialising in commercial, marketing, IT and legal information management. All these external parties act as duly appointed external data processors. The processing of your personal data is legal as it falls within the scope of lawful processing within the meaning of Art. 6, paragraph 1, letter B of Regulation EU 2016/679 on Data Protection.

Method of processing

Tools and logic

With regard to the aforementioned purposes, the processing is carried out using manual, electronic and online tools with a logic strictly related to the aforementioned purposes, and in any case in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data themselves, and with the user’s commitment to promptly notify us of any corrections, changes or updates. Said processing may be carried out on behalf of the Website’s Data Controller for the purposes and in the manner described herein, and in compliance with criteria that guarantee security and confidentiality by the companies, firms, entities and external collaborators appointed as Data Processors and solely with respect to the processing performed by them.

Duration

For purpose 1) (sending newsletters) the data are stored until you decide to unsubscribe from the newsletter; for purpose 2) (Ambassador application) the data are stored for 5 years after termination of the business/selection relationship, or in the event of changes in laws or regulations for as long as storage is necessary to enforce a right of either party. A periodic check is performed on the obsolescence of the data, as well as on email addresses no longer used by the data subject in advertising communications with us.

Transfer of data abroad

Your Personal Data shall be processed both within the European Union and stored on servers located within the European Union, and processed and stored in countries outside the European Union when an adequate level of protection is guaranteed. This level shall be deemed adequate where there is a specific adequacy decision of the European Commission related to the recipient country or where sufficient contractual guarantees are provided by the foreign data controllers and data processors involved, including standard contractual data protection clauses (Art. 46, paragraph 2, letters c and d of Regulation EU 2016/679 on Data Protection).
